Synfuels Plant

Indirect liquefaction is a process that involves gasification of a feedstock to a mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen gas, which is known as synthetic gas or syngas. The syngas mixture is then converted into liquid hydrocarbons by a process known as Fischer-Tropsch synthesis (FTS).
FTS is an important route converting syngas derived from the gasification of coal, natural gas, biomass, and other carbon containing organic materials to clean motor fuels and hydrocarbon based chemicals. The medium temperature slurry- FTS catalyst and process technology (MTSFTP®), originally developed by Synfuels China Technology Company, LTD, shows characteristics of high activity and attrition resistance, low methane selectivity and high energy conversion efficiency.
